Fatima triumph at schools hockey challenge

Fatima had a clear run to the regional final, where they met Danville Park Girls’ High School after winning their group and remaining unbeaten.

Best of North Coast hockey on show at challenge

This hotly contested regional will be hosted for the first time by Crawford College North Coast on their astroturf in the picturesque setting on their school grounds in Tongaat.
Northwood School learner, Andile Mokgakane said he hopes to make the SA cricket team to tour England later this year after being part of the young Proteas ICC U19 world cup squad.

Mokgakane who only got to play two games (a warm-up game and a pool game) at the tournament said the experience was invaluable.

The Our Lady of Fatima teacher has set her sights on making this year’s SA squad for the Fast5 tournament as well as next year’s Netball World Cup.

Andile Mokgakane makes cricketing history

The Northwood School learner was included in the squad of 15 which will contend in the 12th edition of the ICC under-19 World Cup in New Zealand early next year.
