THE South African Police Service has warned the public of fake advertisements saying its recruiting new trainees. SAPS says the adverts have been circulated on various social media platforms. In a statement the police service said their recruitment process was closed.
“Kindly note that the recruitment process for Entry Level Police Act Trainees, January 2019 intake, has not commenced yet. It is envisaged that a National Advertisement will be circulated later on approval, after which the provinces will concurrently circulate the adverts locally within the provinces and also conduct the recruitment drives/imbizos in the communities,” said SAPS.
The police service added: “The advert will also be loaded on the SAPS website as soon as it has been approved and officially circulated.”
