WINTER is here and with it, snow. The cold front that hit parts of South Africa this weekend has brought snow to the mountainous kingdom of Lesotho and the Eastern Cape. According to Snow Report SA, snow is expected today and in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

“We are seeing a good dump of snow developing for Lesotho and the EC Drakensberg regions for Monday. It is likely start in the early hours of the morning, and continue through most of the day. Some areas of Lesotho may get more than 25cm. We will update if this forecast for Monday should change,” the organisation said on its website.
