No water shutdown say City

THE eThekwini Municipality shutdown claims by a fake message doing the rounds on social media saying that citizens would be without water on Thursday.

“We are aware of circulating messages which claim that there will be a 16 hour water shutdown on Thursday due to a planned maintenance by Umgeni Water. We assure the people of eThekwini that there is no interruption of supply and we urge the public not to panic as water will be available,” the City said in a statement on their Facebook page.
